SPD-Ukraine is a founder of a charity and sports festival CherITy. It’s an annual local festival that unites the IT companies of Cherkasy. Its main goal is to support charity initiatives and fundraising. CherITy festival is for adults and children. It creates an atmosphere of kindness, charity, and sports.

The festival includes several sports competitions – ITteambuilding. To take part in the competitions, the participants should donate for charity goals. Different teams compete in:

  • volleyball
  • football
  • basketball
  • table tennis
  • pétanque
  • go-cart racing
  • bowling
  • 2,5 and 10 km race

The winner of ITteambuilding becomes The most athletic IT company in Cherkasy.

Within 5 years, together with different IT companies, we do a good job – 6 charity festival events, 5 sports events for fundraising, and 9 charity initiatives supported:

  • benches with solar batteries
  • equipment for Oncology Center
  • children play area for the orphan home
  • 70 traffic lights devices for blind people
  • mural for school No15 in Cherkasy
